Going hungry with my chopsticks

A couple of weeks ago I sat down in a restaurant and ordered some Vietnamese dish. As with all Vietnamese dishes, rice accompanied it. However, for the first time since arriving in the country, I discovered why Vietnamese rice is always damp and clumpy - because when it's dry and light, it's impossible to eat with chopsticks. Which it was that day. Dry and light. And impossible to eat with my chopsticks.

I Want My Turkish Tea!

This tea...
If you go to the right cafes and restaurants in Saigon, you'll receive a complimentary glass of tea even before you order. You pick up the glass of orange-yellow tea, bring it to your mouth, take a sip and....HEY! THIS AIN'T TEA!

Eeewwww. Vietnamese tea. It ain't Turkish tea in a Turkish tea glass!
...ain't that tea!
