I've been noticing, as I search for decent street vendors to eat at, how much of the food is fried here. It's kind of disturbing. I certainly can't say that it's as bad as MC, as the soups are one of the most common things to buy here. But it's more than I would have thought. Or perhaps what I find troubling is that it isn't olive oil they're cooking with. In fact, I never actually see any bottles of oil being used, but I'm sure whatever is used, it's not the best for the body.
